Now, with most of the Hills and Austral folding rotary clotheslines that we sell, once you've installed them as per the instructions, they generally give you a line height above the ground of approximately 1.8 meters.

Then, of course, you've got the bit of height adjustment with the winding handle of about an extra half meter on top of that.

You do also get adjusters with the Hills Folding Rotary Clotheslines, so you can make it slightly lower. But you can also have that base height a little bit bigger as well, just by putting in the spacers inside the ground socket. The instruction manual that comes with those products will explain all of that.
